Hello, these are a few rolls of film I wanted to debut during Holga Week 2 years ago. The story is I was really excited to go out and shoot Holga and send my best photographs to the competition. The thing I didn’t realize was my local lab did not develop 120 film in house and they had to send it to an out of state lab. It took so long I didn’t get my results until after Holga Week submissions were closed! Never the less, here they are for all to enjoy :]

the best way to shoot color with Holga is cross processing slide film.

Of course you can achieve color-shifted results in any photo editing program. but for those who are willing to spend large chunks of cash on Pro Packs of Kodak and Fuji film stocks, you can achieve the authentic “Holga Look” that I fell in love with as a teenager learning about Lomography.

Cross Processing is developing Slide Film in normal color chemistry (c41). Instead of getting a transparency like you would if you develop slide film normally(e6), you get a color negative film with color shifted results- alah, Lomography.

In my experience I’ve noticed Fuji Slide film cross processed will look more green and Kodak turns more blue.
